Cortney Patterson and Renaissance were the American Hanoverian Society's 2008 National Champions in the Large Junior Hunter, 16-17 division. Cortney was also third in the Small Junior Hunter, 16-17 on Paris, and Paris was Reserve Champion in the Children's Hunters. Renaissance and David Wright (pictured, left, on the cover of the Spring 2009 Hanoverian magazine) were National Champions in the Regular Working Hunter Division. This is the first time the Hanoverian Society has featured a hunter on the cover of their magazine.

Renaissance Wins Regular Working Hunter Championship at WIHS and is USEF Grand National Regular Working Hunter Champion for 2008!!

David Q. Wright of Murfreesboro, TN piloted South Point Farms RENAISSANCE to the Championship in the Regular Working Hunters at the Washington International Horse Show October 21 and 22, 2008 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. RENAISSANCE and David won the National championship in the Regulars.

Renaissance Wins The $10,000 USHJA Hunter Derby

South Point welcomes "Renaissance", a 9 year old Hanoverian gelding who was recently purchased to partner with Cortney Patterson in the equitation and large junior hunter divisions. Renaissance is also being shown in the Regular Working Hunters with David Q. Wright of Murfreesboro, TN in the irons, who recently won the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby in Gulfport.   Thanks so much to Jessica Grines-White and Dr. Cindy Grines for this wonderful horse, and a special “thank you” to trainer Christopher Ewing for making it all happen.
